Because yoga is extremely successful in mitigating stress (cortisol), it helps calm adrenal cortical hormones. Particularly Butterfly Pose (Baddha Konasana) and Child's Pose (Balasana) are great for relieving tension around the pelvis, thereby easing menstrual flow issues.
